Appearance:

They have a general shape of a Human, standing on two legs and having two arms with hands and a single head on their shoulders. Their body however is more strongly built, strong bones and a powerful frame denoting their own physical strength. Their eyes look like two jasper stones stuck into shallow holes in its face, moving and blinking like normal eyes. Their skin is a dull grey color, matching the color of the stones of the mountain where they once lived. They are completely hairless


Their people are generally known for their strength and stonework and years of it has made their arms and legs thick with muscle. Small chips of raw gems grow on the backs of their hands, the top of their head, and their hips. Although very painful, they can remove these chips and work with them to see what has grown. The gems on their head have been polished and tended to carefully, serving as a form of hair for them and currently being grown and carved into the form of a mohawk. Generally speaking they always seem to grow sugilite gems, the purple color glowing on top of their head and back of their hands, having removed the ones growing on their hips.

Personality:

Xanaphia has a very sunny disposition and enjoys trying to help others. They do not like to see other races harmed, especially the young of different races and species. They enjoy a nice story when the sun has gone down and it never takes much to coax them into reciting a poem or song from their own home mountain.


Sadly their facial expression and tone of voice never matches and they always look and sound angry.


Background:

Xanaphia grew up on one of the more influential mountains that the Goliath people controlled. Their family had earned their own fortune from stealing supplies and crafts from the neighboring Dwarves over several hundred years and when they discovered this, they were repulsed. They could not understand why anyone would want to live a comfortable life knowing that it was stolen and so when they were old enough they took their set of tools and left their mountain home, determined to make their way in the world without stepping on the backs of others.


They have since discovered that the rest of the world is nothing like their mountain home and they are very excited and ready to learn all they can about it, ready and willing to make lasting friends here.


Hopefully they will find someone who can teach them how to use their facial muscles and control the tone of their voice.
